The Bob Fera Band is based out of Buffalo, NY. They've been kicking their brand of energetic, pop-based rock since the fall of 1998. Although the members have been playing together in various incarnations over the past 5 years, the Bob Fera band, or BFB, is definitely something different. Their hard-hitting, aggressive edge in live performances have given them strong comparisons to the Who and Matthew Sweet. To see Bob Fera perform live is to see a mix of passion and talent that is lacking from many of today's artist. |

Bob Fera is the obvious heart and soul of the band. His songwriting has been the focus since day one and that isn't disputed. Niether are the results. He honed his singing and stage presence in a slew of Buffalo area local bands throughout the 1990's. Some of Bob's former bands include Me & Bob, The Invention of the Opposing Thumb, and the Jennings. All of these bands had strong grass-roots followings in Western New York, which made the transition to the Bob Fera Band an obvious one. IAll of his former projects had been light to medium rock and pop acts, and in 1998, Bob decided he needed more. He wanted to put together a band that could rock as well as put a melody together. He wanted that edge that the other bands had lacked, so he set out to build his own supergroup. |

Eric "Bink" Wild is the drummer Bob chose for the band. Bob and Bink had been friends for many years and there was no other drummer with Bink's sound. He's open, free, exciting, yet precise as swiss time. Bob had to have Bink in order to form the band. Bink's sound and style is his own. He developed it independent bands such as Black Wax and Dakota. To the Bob Fera Band, he adds a sound that is unique and good. When people see his classic Rogers set on the stage, they know it's time to rock. |

Scott Howard has had a long history in the WNY music scene, having played in over a dozen local bands, including Goof, Mexican Cession, The Jennings, and some off beat punk acts he doesn't care to mention! Being the author of this website, that's as much as I can stomach writing about myself in the third person, so please forgive my switch to the forst person. When Bob proposed the bass position in this band, I told him "No." Bob then told me if I didn't play, he's prove to me that there is no such thing as a tooth fairy. This was too much to bear, so I joined the band. Bob's songs have always been among my favorites, so that helped as well... and you can't argue with Bink on drums. |

Eric
Seymour come to the band in the summer of 1999. Before Eric joined,
the band had a lot of heart, volume, and good songs. Eric joined and they
got style. Eric adds the little extras that you remember. The hooks come
from here.
Eric Seymour is not one to play in a single band, you can find him playing in groups throughout Western New York. Some of these include Drew Martin, and the Move. It isn't that odd for Eric to pull off two gigs with two bands in the same club in the same night. That's what keeps him on top of his game. When Bob heard him play, it was set.
